The municipal offices of the R.M. of Loreburn are located at 562 Main Street in the Village of Loreburn, Sask.

Regular Council Meetings

The regular meetings for the council of the Rural Municipality of Loreburn No. 254 will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 1.00 p.m. in the R.M. Office in Loreburn.

Waste Disposal Services

The municipality still operates a waste disposal grounds located on NW 01-27-05 W3. It is open to R.M. of Loreburn taxpayers, for disposal of domestic waste, wood and steel. There are designated sites for each type of waste and it must be sorted. The municipality does not accept tires at the site. Burning is prohibited at the disposal grounds.

Our Nuisance Grounds hours changed as follows:

Tuesday 1.00 p.m. – 5.00 p.m.
Saturday 9.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m.

Recycling Bins

The municipality shares in the costs of the recycling bins located in each village within our municipal boundaries. This enables R.M. of Loreburn taxpayers to use these recycle bins. They are set up to recycle newspaper, cardboard, tin and plastic.

Pesticide Disposal Site

The municipality has a fenced in site for collection of pesticide containers on the NW 01-27-05 W3.All containers are to be triple rinsed, drained and stacked on their sides. No cardboard boxes are allowed in the area fenced in. Non-agricultural containers are not allowed in the site.

Municipal Tank Loading Facility

The municipality owns and operates a tank loading facility on NE 11-27-05 W3. This site provides non-potable water for agricultural use by our taxpayers. There is a charge of $1.00 for 300 gallons of non-potable water.
